Description: This polygon feature class is the Notice of Value (NOV) Assessor Parcel data for Bernalillo County, NM. The parcel geography is maintained by the Bernalillo County Assessor's Office GIS/Mapping Department and the non-confidential data is extracted from the Bernalillo County ASR/TRS IAS system.
Description: Polygon feature class that spatially defines the various Integrated Development Ordinance (IDO) zone districts within the City of Albuquerque. The IDO feature class was developed from the original AGIS Zoning layer in November 2015 based on a conversion table establishing how old zones were to convert to the new IDO Zones. The conversion was based on the closest matching set of permissive uses. R-D and Special Use zones followed a set of rules for conversion and/or the regulations established in the original Sector Plan in which the zone was located. After extensive community outreach and many public hearings, the final IDO Zoning Conversion Map was completed on May 16, 2018. The original zoning was kept in the attribute table and the intent is to keep this information available within this feature class for a few years. The IDO was adopted in November 2017 with amendments in April and May 2018. The IDO became effective on May 17, 2018. Subsequent changes to this feature class will occurr through the City sponsored voluntary, follow-up zone conversion process from May 2018 to April 2019. Other changes will be dictated by zone map amendments of the old zoning code still working their way through the approval process or zone map amendments requested by property owners outside of the City sponsored conversion process.

Description: Land use for areas within the City of Albuquerque. The land use codes were converted to a new set of codes in March 2019 in coordination between the City of Albuquerque Planning Department Urban Design and Development and AGIS Divisions and staff at Mid-Region Council of Governments. The Land Use Category field is a generalized Category that follows more closely what Mid-Region Council of Government staff use for their land use modeling activities. The Land Use Description field follows more closely the types of land uses outlined in the Integrated Development Ordinance (IDO) that became effective May 17, 2018. These Use Regulations are listed in Part 14-16-4 within the document. The Old Land Use Category field is how the Land Use layer was generalized prior to March 2019 (starting from the mid-1990s) and the Old Land Use Description field includes the codes that were in use prior to March 2019 (starting from the mid-1990s). These codes will remain in place until it is determined by AGIS that they are no longer needed. Updates to the land uses are ongoing, including an effort starting March 2019 from direct feedback supplied by Urban Design and Development staff.
